We do not sell anything. We serve people by teaching and making resources available. We have said many times, “If our ministry ever looks like a business, then we have failed at ministry.”
As we have taught different concepts, particularly in the areas of healthy eating and natural health care, people have questioned us on the best products, tools and resources for implementing these concepts. A confession we must make is that we absolutely love to find high quality merchandise for bargain prices. The Lord has used this thrill-of-the-hunt mentality along with God-given administrative skills to serve a purpose in The Whole Truth ministry. When we find an item we truly believe in (a grain mill or a water purifier, for example) we have ordered a small quantity of these at wholesale prices and passed them along to interested parties at our cost.
When we started out we wanted to purchase certain items at the wholesale cost, but did not need the minimum order of six identical items or did not meet a minimum purchase amount with certain companies. We asked some friends in our church to join us, such that all could participate in the savings. We loved it! So much in fact, that this part of our ministry grew to the point where we were serving hundreds of people in our “bulk” orders. As you can well imagine, this became very time-consuming. Our goal is still to provide resources which can only be obtained elsewhere at a much higher price. If you find the same quality item for less elsewhere, by all means, use that source—and let us know, too! We avoid multi-level marketing products for several reasons (see our financial section for more information on this). While we are not a store or retailer, it is a blessing to us to help our brothers and sisters in Christ in this way—a different twist to “equipping the saints.”
The items we make available have a definite cost to us, and we make them available to other believers for a suggested donation in an attempt to recover this cost, to help with our administrative needs and to further the ministry to others who have a need, be it a Bible or a bucket of beans. There have been many times when we have given hundreds, even thousands of dollars of supplies to people whom we believed had a legitimate need and because of their circumstances, could not make the suggested donation. Obviously, we can only do this as the Lord provides the funds.
We are thankful for regular supporters as well as those who give a one-time donation. We will receipt all donations, showing the fair market value of any materials received, in order to help contributors determine the tax-deductible portion of their gifts.
We will never sell or rent our mailing list to anyone. Those who contact us, do so in good faith. If they want to be on someone else’s mailing list, they should make that request themselves.
This ministry belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. Though operated by men, we strive to seek His counsel in every decision we make. We are so thankful to the Lord for all He has done in our lives and we are honored to be used by Him in any way He sees fit. We love teaching others about Him and His ways. We consider ourselves native missionaries to the United States and financially and prayerfully support missionaries, particularly native missionaries, worldwide. We seek to live by faith and thus are a faith-based ministry. We appreciate every prayer that has been said for us and every penny that has been given to us. Our policy is to pass any blessings over and above our administrative and staffing needs to other Biblical ministries, some of whose links may be found on our site. “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”—Philippians 4:19. We have certainly found this to be true in our lives and praise God for His provision.
